The Position Conserve It is looking for is a frontend developer to help kick start a proprietary software stack. This software is to be used to provide key data analytics to our clients so they may better purpose product and site maintenance. You will be working with a small team to deliver a web application that presents our clients with detailed analytics and insights into their portfolio gathered from our IoT devices on site, with seamless integration into client service workflows with issue creation, tracking and resolution capabilities.
As a front-end developer, your duties will include
Design and development of microservices and/or front-end assets primarily using REACT and other modern web technologies.
Ensure consistency of the microservices through the use of style guides and coding standards
Write durable, testable and maintainable code
Collaborating with a cross-functional team to enhance existing solutions and creating new ones
Continuously improve your skills and help the team continuously improve its process. A desire to learn is always looked upon favourably.
Hours: Full Time
Location: Melbourne CBD. Potential of remote working possible following on from initial training.
Essential skills and experience
Formal qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1 year working with AWS cloud technologies
2 years working with Node JS
1 year developing with React.js
Fluent with the use of Linux and Docker
Fluent with Git and source code management
Working knowledge of responsive applications
Working knowledge of SASS and how to use/apply it
Understanding of Relational and NoSQL Databases
Working knowledge of Python
Working knowledge and experience with Redux
Understand how to write JEST tests
Regular social events including weekly drinks
